A paddle board designed for shorter, lighter riders wanting a beginner paddle board. The Shark 10'2 is a great board for all round fun, a little bit of SUP surfing and paddling along rivers, lakes and canals with friends and family.
The all round range is where paddle boarders should start their SUP journey. Designed with a great balance of stability, straight line tracking and manoeuvrability these make perfect first time boards. The all round range is incredibly versatile allowing paddlers to make their first SUP strokes, do some light touring, try SUP surfing, and even SUP yoga.
This 10'2 all round paddle board is 30" wide and 5" (4.7") thick, offering a perfect choice for shorter riders as it enables the paddler to gain a perfect paddle stroke without having to over stretch when pulling the paddle through the water. Gaining a great paddle stroke means the paddle board will stay in a straight line more easily and it also means paddle boarding will be a lot easier and less tiring as the rider will not be pulling excess board through the water. At 5" thick this board is the optimum thickness to gain stiffness without over volume, allowing lighter riders to paddle without getting hit by side wind and therefore having less issues of 'bobbing like a cork' on top of the water. As the Shark 10'2 is designed for a shorter rider it is 30" wide x 5" thick so board is also really easy to carry, allowing shorter arms to wrap around to the central handle easily, this allows shorter riders to comfortably carry there own boards to the waters edge. The 10'2 all round board is manufactured to premium high quality with double layer laminated high density material and triple rail edge. The Shark SUPs all come with the optimum balance of weight and durability as well featuring a Shark Kick Tail (SKT) helping to develop the step back turn technique as well as allowing this 10'2 all-round board to be great in playing in small surf.
