The Touring range has been designed for the more experienced paddler who is looking to go faster, with better straight line tracking. This 10'6 Kids Touring paddle board is 27" wide and 5" (4.7") thick, offers a perfect choice for shorter riders as it enables the paddler to gain a perfect paddle stroke without having to over stretch when pulling the paddle through the water. Gaining a great paddle stroke means the paddle board will stay in a straight line more easily and it also means paddle boarding will be a lot easier and less tiring as the rider will not be pulling excess board through the water. At 5" thick this board is the optimum thickness to gain stiffness without over volume, allowing lighter riders to paddle without getting hit by side wind and therefore having less issues of 'bobbing like a cork' on top of the water. As the Shark kids board is 27" wide x 5" thick this board is also really easy to carry, allowing shorter arms to wrap around to the central handle easily, allowing kids to be more involved in the full adventure (also giving mum and dad less to do!) . The 10'6"kids touring board is manufactured to the same high quality of all SHARK boards with double layer laminated high density material and triple rail edge so they are every bit as technical as the adult boards. With the optimum balance of weight and durability the 9'6" also features the Shark Kick Tail (SKT) helping to develop the step back turn technique.
